Indication:
Mild to moderate hypertension
Adverse Reaction:
hypotension renal failure discontinue if angio-edema or tongue edema or laryhgeal oedema occurs. rash dizziness , headache diarrhoea, cough upper respiratory symptoms fatigue palpitation gout
Contra-Indications:
Aortic stenosis outflow obstruction angioneurotic edema ( related to previous ACE inhibitor therapy ) heriditary or idiopathic angioedema anuria severe renal failure Special precautions- renovascular hypertension severe congestive failure hypertropic cardiomyopathy cerebro-vascular disease renal artery stenosis monitor renal function before and during therapy monitor WBC in renal and collagen vascular disease

Mild to moderate hypertension
1 tab daily max. 2 tabs daily
children - not recommended
