Hot flushes, Sexual dysfunction, Decreased erections, Lower urinary tract symptoms, Lethargy, Pain, Edema, Upper respiratory infection, Rash, Sweating, Anorexia, Achronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Dizziness, Insomnia, Nausea.
Contra-Indications:
Pregnancy, lactation, non diagnosed vaginal bleeding
Special precautions:
Prostatic and breast cancer worsening, hypercalcemia, lipids levels, bone mineral density changes, antibody formation.

Dosage: Monthly (3.6mg) implant- administer SC every 28 days into upper abdominal wall. Local anesthesia may be used before injection

1.Allergies-

goserilin .
2.Fertility-
Goserilin causes fertility whic may be permanent.If you plan to have children
discuss this with your doctor.
3.Older adults-
This medicine is not expected to cause different side effects or problems in
older people than they do in younger adults.

Pharmacology:
Goserelin acetate is a synthetic decapeptide analog of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone. It acts as a potent inhibitor of pituitary gonaddotropin secretion when administerd in biodegradable formulation
Pharmacokinetics:
Peak serum levels are acheived 12 to 15 days after SC administration in males. Goserelin implant is absorbed at a much slower rate initially for the first 8 days, and there is more rapid and continuous absorption for the remainder of the 28 day dosing period.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Pregnancy:
Do not use in women who are or who may become pregnant while receiving the drug.
Lactation:
Discontinue the drug before breast feeding
